This is a U.S. Revolver Company Hammerless Top-Break Revolver manufactured in the 1920's and chambered for the .32 S&W cartridge. U.S. Revolver Company was a trade brand used by the Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works. They were intended for the export and mail order markets. They are of the same quality as Iver Johnson's named products but differ slightly internally. They were produced from 1909 to 1936. This revolver has a 3" barrel and is double action only. It is in very fine condition with more than 95% of its factory nickel finish remaining. There is a bit of flaking right at the forcing cone of the barrel and just above the cylinder. The trigger and barrel catch retain all of their case color. The trigger guard has all of its blued finish. The gun has excellent mechanics. There was a little surface rust in the bore at the mid-point. It should scrub out pretty well, but it will be discolored. The black hard rubber grips have the U.S. logo and are in excellent condition. The revolver is in the original box with the wrapping paper, a cleaning brush, and an old ad for Three-in-One oil. The box is in good condition with worn edges. One corner has been repaired with clear tape. There is a tear through the label end of the box, but the label is unfaded and clearly visible. This is about as nice a one of these as you are likely to find. Stock no. 29665
