This is a Harrington & Richardson Hammerless 2nd Model Large Frame Top Break Revolver. This is a fifth variation revolver. It is a double action only, 6-shot revolver with a 5-inch barrel, chambered for the .32 S&W cartridge. These were produced from 1916-1924. This gun is blued. Most were nickel plated. This would be in excellent condition except that a previous owner saw fit to scratch initials and numbers all over it. There is an "N" and a social security number on the left side of the frame, a "W" on the right side, and a large roman numeral on the left side of the top rib. All are very lightly done. Without the scratching the gun would have about 98% of its blue remaining with a bit of holster wear at the muzzle. The mechanics are excellent, and the bore and chambers are very fine. The black hard rubber grips are very fine with no chips or cracks. While it is a shame about the scratching, this remains a very nice example of the Hammerless 2nd Model. Stock no. 29381
