This is a Springfield Armory M1A Socom 16 Rifle chambered for the .308 Winchester cartridge. This shortened tactical version of the M1A has a 16 1/4" barrel with a muzzle brake. It has a Tritium front sight with a ghost ring aperture rear sight. It has a forward scout-style Picatinny mount, two stage military trigger, and a green composite stock. It has the factory 10-round magazine but will, of course, accept military magazines. This rifle is in excellent condition with nearly all of its black phosphate finish remaining. The bore and mechanics are excellent, The green composite stock is excellent as well with just a tiny scuff or two from use. This is a beautiful rifle in great condition in hard-hitting .308. How can you go wrong? Stock no. 7083
