Here is an original, WWI Italian Model 1891 Carcano Infantry Long Rifle manufactured at Terni in 1915. It is chambered for the 6.5x52mm cartridge. This was the standard Italian battle rifle of WWI. This rifle is in very good condition. It retains more than 90% of its blued finish with some light wear on the high points and a few small dings and scratches overall. The bolt is armory bright and has some brown patina developing. The mechanics work well with an unnumbered bolt. The bore is alittle dark and frosty, but the rifling is strong along its length. The stock is in good condition, dark and oily, with a scattering of small dings and scratches from use. This is a good complete example of a WWI Carcano. Stock no. 29262
