This is a Colt Buntline Scout Single Action Revolver made in 1958 and chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. This gun's serial number has an "F" suffix. Strangely, while marked as a "Buntline Scout", it has a 7 1/2" barrel. It has the Duotone finish, with the aluminum frame and grip straps left bright. The barrel and cylinder are blued. The gun is in very fine condition with just a hint of holster wear at the muzzle. The bore, mechanics, and chambers are excellent. The black composition grips are very fine with no chips or cracks. The revolver comes with a period woot-tone box for a Buntline Scout but it is not original to the gun. This is a nice early example of the Buntline Scout. Stock no. 29098
