This is a Browning Challenger Model Pistol manufactured in Belgium and chambered for the .22 Long rifle cartridge. It is a semi-automatic pistol with a 6 3/4" barrel and wrap around checkered walnut grips. These were produced for Browning by FN of Belgium from 1962 to 1975. This one dates to the early 1970's. It is in excellent, like new condition with 100% of its factory blued finish remaining. The bore and mechanics are excellent, as is the one-piece wrap around checkered walnut grip. The fit and finish of these guns is outstanding. This is a superb example. Stock no. 28737
