SUPERB WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE, .22LR

Here is an original Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle manufactured in 1958 and chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. These were made from 1932 to 1963. This rifle has a 24" round barrel. The receiver is grooved for a scope mount. The gun is in excellent condition. It retains nearly 100% of its factory blued finish. The only finish wear visible is a bit on the slide bar of the action. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The walnut stock is excellent as well with just a very tiny ding or two from use. The black, hard rubber butt plate is in excellent condition with the Winchester logo and no chips or cracks. It does have a little milkiness in the grooves of the checkering. The Model 61 Winchester is my favorite squirrel rifle. This is a superb example. Stock no. 28445
