This is a Browning T-Bolt T-2 Rifle made in Belgium in 1966. It is chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge and has a 22" barrel. The T-bolt uses a unique straight pull design. The T-2 variant has a lacquered and checkered stock. The receiver of this rifle has high quality hand cut scroll engraving. The bolt handle is gold plated. The gun is fitted with a Browning 4X scope. The rifle is in excellent condition with more than 98% of its factory blued finish remaining on the barrel and trigger guard. There is a hint of finish wear at the muzzle. The engraved receiver has been left in the bright. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The lacquered stock is excellent as well with just a very tiny ding or two in the checkering. The scope has good clear optics with a little finish wear on the edges. I shot a Browning T-Bolt a lot as a young'un causing many a squirrel to meet its demise. This is a beautiful example.
