VERY FINE ZABALA HERMANOS SXS DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN, 12 GAUGE

Here is a High Grade, Side by Side, Double Barrel Shotgun made by Zabala Hermanos of Eibar, Spain. It is a 12-gauge sidelock shotgun with 28" barrels choked full and modified. Zabala produced fine shotguns from 1932 to 2010. This gun has high quality engraving on the frame and sidelock plates. The stock and forearm are checkered. The gun is in very fine to excellent condition with more than 95% of its factory finish remaining. There is a tiny finish ding on the right side of the barrels about 3 inches from the breech. There appears to be a bit of corrosion under the rib near the muzzle. It may be silver solder. The gun has excellent bores and mechanics. The stock is in fine with just a couple of small dings and scratches from use. The wood is fairly straight grain, but there is some figure in the forearm. There is some nice tiger striping at the tip of the forearm, giving it the appearance of having a nose cap. The butt has been fitted with a rubber recoil pad. This is a beautiful shotgun.
