Here is an original accessory included with the cased C93 Borchardt Semi-automatic Pistol. The Borchardt was the forerunner to the Luger pistol and quite scarce today. This accessory is a wooden dummy magazine that includes an oiler and three piece cleaning rod. The oiler acts as the rod's handle. When the wooden block is inserted into the magazine well, it holds the mechanism open for cleaning the barrel. It is an artful little piece of engineering. This one is in excellent condition. The back is stamped "Gesetlich Geschutzt", for Law Protected, the German equivalent of a patent. All the parts are present. The wood is excellent. The brass has a nice smooth dark bronze patina. This is a very rare tool in outstanding condition. Stock no. 28114
