Here is an original Colt New service made for the British military in 1916. Originally chambered for the .455 Eley cartridge, this revolver, like most, has been rechambered to .45 Long Colt. This gun is in fine condition with 70-80% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is some light overall holster wear and the grip straps are turning brown. There is some speckling on the right side of the frame. The revolver has excellent mechanics. The bore and chambers are excellent as well. The hard rubber grips have "COLT" in the oval. They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are British acceptance stamps on the gun. Included is a beautiful, reproduction holster in excellent condition. This is a nice WWI era Colt New Service. Stock no. 28134
