VERY FINE, SWEDISH MODEL 1894/14 CARBINE W/ BAYONET

This is an original, Swedish Model 1894/14 Carbine manufactured by Carl Gustav in 1916. It is chambered for the 6.5x55mm cartridge. The carbine is all matching except for the rear sight. The gun is in very fine condition with about 90% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is a bit of finish wear on the magazine floorplate and on the top of the barrel. The bolt and butt plate are finished armory bright. The carbine has excellent mechanics and an excellent bore with a counter-bored muzzle. The stock is in fine condition with just a few tiny dings from use. Included is an original leather sling and bayonet with scabbard. Both are in very fine condition, as well. There are a couple of tiny dents on the steel scabbard. This is an outstanding example of the Model 1894/14 carbine. Stock no. 27954
