This is an original Remington No.6 Falling Block Boy's Rifle manufactured in 1927 and chambered for the .22 S,L, or LR cartridges. It is a single shot take-down rifle with a 20" barrel sized for a young shooter. These were produced from 1901 to 1933. This rifle is in very fine to excellent condition. The barrel retains about 98% of its factory blued finish with just a bit of finish wear at the muzzle. The frame retains nearly all of its original case colors. There is a little rusting of the butt plate at the heel and right along the edges. The rifle has an excellent bore and mechanics. The stock is in fine condition with a few small dings and a scuff on the left side of the butt. Most of these were hard used and show it. This one is in especially nice condition. Stock no. 27425
