BEAUTIFUL MAUSER MODEL 1914 PISTOL, 7.65MM W/ WWII HOLSTER

Description :
This is a Mauser model 1914 Semi-automatic pistol manufactured in the mid 1920's and chambered for the 7.65mm (.32 ACP) cartridge. The Model 1914 was produced from 1914 to 1934. This is a fourth variant, the standard post-war production type. Although marked with the "Germany" mark that generally denotes a pistol developed for export, this pistol may have seen limited WWII use. It is in a WWII German military holster Dated 1941. Given the superb condition of the pistol, it would have been very limited use. The pistol is in excellent condition with nearly 100% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is a very tiny pin prick of corrosion just under the "Germany" marking. The trigger still has the majority of its fire blued finish. The bore and mechanics are excellent, as are the one-piece wooden grips. The magazine has been cleaned to a bright finish. The blue of the floor plate shows some edge wear. The holster is in fine condition. There is some scuffing of the leather particularly on the edges. The body of the holster is made from webbing with the flap, edges, and magazine pouch made from leather. It is nicely marked with the manufacturer code "cdc" over "41". This was the code for Kern, Klager u. Co., Lederwaren, Berlin (Kern, Klager and Co. Leatherworks). This is an outstanding example of the M1914 Mauser. Stock no. 26814
