7MM Rolling Block Remington Manufactured 1890's Carbine. 16 1/2 inch barrel with blade front sight and simple ladder rear sight. Barrel is marked "Cal. 7MM" and has a hand engraved serial number "459". Very crisp Remington address and patents on the barrel tang. Barrel retains about 50% watery blue. Frame and trigger guard are a smooth dove grey. Bore is clean but rifling is somewhat worn. I'd rate it fair. Mechanics are good but it seems to have a "hair" trigger and this should be addressed. Fine oil finished walnut stock and fore end. Sling swivels mounted on butt stock and front band. All military style. My guess is it was made under a South American Military Contract. 25861
