FINE US MODEL 1865 SPENCER CAVALRY CARBINE

Caliber 56-50, 7 Shot Repeating Rimfire Carbine. Carbine is fine overall with 70-80% original blue on 20" barrel, mixed with black blue gun metal patina. Receiver is mostly a slate grey but has black areas of original case color hardening. Crisp Spencer Rifle Company Marks on top of receiver and 1860 patent date. Stabler Cut-Off. SN# 169XX on back of receiver. Excellent mechanics. Good bore with some slight pitting from the old rimfire ammunition. Fine oil finished stock and for end with clear "ESA" cartouche at the left just behind the sling ring and bar. Magazine tube is unsplit and in fine condition. Overall a very fine Indian War Spencer Carbine!
