Item :	CUSTOM .30-06 HEAVY BARREL BENCH RIFLE W/ LYMAN ALL-AMERICAN 10X SCOPE

This is a custom built Bench Rifle chambered for the .30-06 Government Cartridge. The rifle is very well made, but unmarked except for a serial number on the receiver and the caliber on the barrel, so I have no idea who built it. It is a single shot bolt action with a 24" heavy stainless steel barrel. I do not know the make of the receiver, but the stock has a rubber butt pad with the "Savage" logo, so it is possibly a Savage action. The rifle is in very fine to excellent condition. There are a few small dings and scratches on the stock, but the action and trigger guard retain nearly 100% of their blued finish. The very heavy stainless steel barrel is finished in the bright. The mechanics are excellent with a light, crisp trigger. The bore is excellent, mirror bright with sharp rifling. The stock is fine with the already mentioned dings. The checkered pistol grip has a "fat" cross section. It fits my hand perfectly, but may be a bit large for someone with small hands. The rifle is fitted with a receiver mounted Lyman All-American 10X Scope. The scope is in very fine condition with clear optics. There is some grime on the exterior from storage that should clean off easily. This gun has every indication of being a superb bench rest target rifle. Stock no. 25085
