This is a Colt Detective Special Revolver manufactured in 1961 and chambered for the .38 Special cartridge. This is a Post-war second issue revolver with the polished long grip frame. It is nickel plated and has a 2" barrel. The revolver is in very fine to excellent condition with 99% of its factory nickel finish remaining. There are a couple of very tiny specks on the side plate on the left side of the frame. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are excellent. The checkered wood Colt medallion grips are very fine with just a couple of tiny dings from use. This is a beautiful Colt Detective Special. Stock no. 24784
