1920 COLT NEW SERVICE REVOLVER, .44-40

This is an original, Colt New Service Revolver manufactured in 1920 and chambered for the .44 W.C. F. (.44-40) cartridge. The New Service was produced from 1898-1942. This revolver is in fine condition with about 80-85% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is holster wear on the barrel sides and cylinder. There is a sprinkling of brown patina on the right side of the frame. The pistol has excellent mechanics. The bore and chambers are excellent as well. The original hard rubber Colt Logo grips are complete with no cracks. There are a couple of small dents on the left grip, as well as some very tiny chips along the bottom edge of that grip. They are very old and have been worn smooth. This New Service is a great double action, big bore .44 revolver. Stock no. 24396
