Here is an original, Swedish Model 1896 Match Target/Sharpshooters Rifle manufactured by Carl Gustafs in 1908. It is chambered for the 6.5x55mm cartridge. Fitted with target sights and a wooden, applied pistol grip, these rifles have a legendary reputation for accuracy. This rifle is in fine condition. It is all matching except for the cleaning rod. It retains about 98% of its blued and armory bright finish. The rifle has excellent mechanics and a very fine bore. The stock is in fine condition as well with just a few small dings and scratches from use. The rifle is fitted with high grade "Elit" target sights. Both the front and rear sight retain their rubber covers. The rifle is also fitted with the correct sharpshooter's sling. There are tiny importer marks on the underside of the barrel. This is a great Swedish Target Rifle with superior sights. Stock no. 24118
