Item :	MANURHIN WALTHER MODEL PP .22 PISTOL, IOB

Description :

This is a Walther Model PP semi-automatic Pistol manufactured under license by the French firm of Manurhin ( Manufacture De Machines Du Haut-Rhin). It is in the original factory cardboard box with the manual. It is a standard Model PP chambered for the .22 LR cartridge. It has brown plastic standard grips and the magazine is fitted with a grip extension. An additional left grip panel with a thumbrest is included for target shooting. The pistol is in excellent condition, retaining more than 98% of its factory blued finish. There is just the faintest hint of wear at the front edges of the slide. The bore and mechanics are excellent, as are the grips. The original box has a little scuffing, especially at the corners. There are two small pieces of cardboard glued into the box top to reinforce it. This pistol does not have U.S. Importer marks. It does have the mark of J. V. Åström-Bjurtjärn who was the largest distributor of Walther pistols in Sweden, both during and after WWII. The original manual is entirely in German, so this is not a gun originally exported to America. It is a beautiful Manurhin .22 Walther PP. Stock no. 22924
