VERY FINE, WARTIME COMMERCIAL, MAUSER C-96 BROOMHANDLE PISTOL

This is an original Mauser C-1896 Broomhandle pistol chambered for the 7.63 mm Mauser cartridge. This is a wartime commercial production pistol with the "New Safety" design and the correct "NS" marking on the hammer. This pistol is in very fine condition, with about 85% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is some wear on the high points, rear grip straps, and underside of the barrel. The small parts (extractor, safety, sight slide, and trigger) retain most of their fire blued finish. The extractor has a bit more wear than the other parts. The pistol is all matching.including the grips. The grips are very fine with no chips or cracks. The bore and mechanics are excellent. This is a very nice example of the commercial Broomhandle.
