Here is an original, WWII, Japanese Summer Weight Field Cap. It is made of a light open weave material. This is a later war example, with 2 metal eyelets on each side and a green pressed paper strap. The strap is fastened with 2 brass cherry blossom buttons. This cap is in beautiful unissued condition. It has a crisp, printed paper label on the inside.
