FINE ATTIC UNTOUCHED JENKS US MODEL 1808 CONTRACT FLINTLOCK MUSKET

.69 Caliber Smoothbore US Martial Flintlock Musket. 44 3/4 Inch barrel is a smooth brown patina with only a small patch of light pitting around the touch hole. Clear "US" and sunken "P" proofs at left breech. Barrel tang struck with a "V". 6 1/2 Inch flat lock is simply struck with a droop wing Eagle over "US" within a tiny oval. Musket shows use. Frizzen steel has been re-lined. Musket is complete with all original furniture including sling swivels and ram rod. Excellent dark walnut stock with crisp "V/GW" trefoil cartouche at the left flat. If anybody wants a War of 1812 Musket, here it is. Fine, untouched attic condition.
