This is a Smith & Wesson Model 15-4 revolver made in 1980 and chambered for the .38 Special cartridge. Known as the .38 Combat Masterpiece, it is a medium framed, double-action, six-shot revolver with a 4-inch barrel. It is built on the "K" frame and has an adjustable rear sight. The grips are the standard S&W Magna style, checkered with a medallion. This revolver is in excellent condition with nearly 100% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is the faintest hint of holster wear on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle. The cased color on the trigger and hammer remain bright. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are all excellent. The grips are very good with some small dings and chips on the edges of the butt. These are a little heavier on the left grip than the right, but all are quite small. The original box is in very fine to condition with all of the brochures and the instruction sheet. The original anti-rust wrapping paper is also included. The box lower has a little peeling of the lining paper at the edges. This is a beautiful example of the .38 Combat Masterpiece. Stock no. 32841
