Item :	WWII GERMAN MAUSER HSC PISTOL, 7.65MM, WAFFENAMT MARKED, RARE PLASTIC GRIPS

Description :

This is an original, WWII production, Mauser HSc Pistol made ca. 1944 and chambered for the 7.65mm (.32 ACP) cartridge. This is from the last wartime production run, made just before the use of a phosphate finish. It has the "WaA135" Waffenamt on the left web of the trigger guard. This is also one of the pistols given the rare, black plastic grips. A total of 251,988 HSc pistols were made between 1940 and 1945. Almost 55% went to the Army and almost 11% went to the Kriegsmarine. This pistol is in very good to fine condition. It retains 60-70% of its factory blued wartime finish. There is significant finish wear on the grip straps. These have a brown speckled, steel gray patina. There are some rust spots that have been cleaned on the trigger guard and edges of the frame. the slide retains most of its blued finish with just a few very tiny speckles. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The black plastic grips are very fine with just a tiny ding or two from use. This is a good example of a late WWII HSc. Stock no. 32831
