Item :	GERMAN PROOFED, WWII, POLISH RADOM VIS MODEL 35 PISTOL, 9MM

Description :

This is an original, WWII, Polish Vis Model 35 Pistol manufactured under German occupation by the Fabryka Broni Arms Factory in Radom. Chambered for the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge, the Radom was adopted by Germany after the Polish defeat in 1939. It was designated the 9mm Pistole 645(p), but generally referred to as the P.35. The pistol was based on the Browning Hi-Power but more closely resembles the Model 1911 pistol. The pistol proved popular with German troops and in the later part of the war many were issued to the Fallschirmjäger (paratroops). This pistol is in good to very good condition with about 30% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is significant finish wear on the slide, grip straps, and rear of the frame. These areas have a mottled steel gray patina. This pistol has an excellent bore and works well mechanically. The black hard rubber grips are in fine condition with just a tiny ding or two from use. The pistol has a number of German acceptance markings and Waffenamt markings. The slide has a different number than the frame. Stock no. 32830
