Description :

|
This is an original, Winchester Model 75 Training Rifle manufactured in 1942 and chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It is a bolt action rifle feeding from a 5-round, detachable box magazine. It has a 28" barrel and is fitted with a Lyman aperture peep adjustable rear sight. These were used as training rifles during WWII. This rifle is in very fine condition with more than 98% of its factory parkerized finish remaining. There are just a few very tiny dings or scratches in the finish. The mechanics are excellent. The magazine is quite tight and a bit hard to remove. It looks like there may be a small dent on the trigger plate that is causing it to press against the magazine. The bore is excellent. The stock is very fine with a couple of tiny dings from use or storage. There is a crisp "P" firing proof on the front of the wrist. There is a rack number, "A4", stamped on the left side of the butt. This is a very nice Model 75 in great condition. Stock no. 32510
