Here is a Colt 3rd Model Dragoon Revolver made by Colt in about 1980. It is .44 caliber. This is a 2nd Generation Colt. Colt considers these revolvers to be actual Colts and these guns will letter. They are superbly fit and finished with real bone case color on the frames and a polished blued finish on the barrels and cylinders. These 2nd Generation Colt Black Powder guns closely replicate the originals, right down to the markings. There are no extra proof marks or warnings like on the Italian replicas. This revolver is in excellent condition, unfired in the original box. It retains nearly 100% of its factory blued and case-colored finishes. The bore and mechanics are excellent, as are the grips. The original box is in good condition with the paperwork. There is moderate scuffing of the corners and edges of the box. The thin foam cover is missing. This is a beautiful revolver and as close to an original as you can find. Stock no. BCL
