This is a Smith & Wesson Model 41-1 Target Pistol manufactured in the Mid-1960's. This pistol is a bit of a mystery. The frame is stamped on the right side "Mod.41-1". The "-1" was stamped after the gun was blued. While the Model 41-1 was chambered for the .22 short cartridge, this one is chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It is a semi-automatic pistol feeding from a 10-round magazine. It has the 5-inch sport barrel and the cocking indicator. This pistol has been fitted with a custom set of aftermarket grips. the gun is in excellent condition with nearly 100% of its factory blued finish remaining. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The grips are excellent, as well. Maybe you can solve the mystery of the markings! Stock no. 32107
