ZASTAVA M59/66 PAP SKS RIFLE, 7.62X39MM

This is a M59/66 PAP Rifle manufactured at Zastava, Serbia and chambered for the 7.62x39mm cartridge. This is a Yugoslavian licensed copy of the Soviet SKS rifle. PAP stands for poluautomatska puška, which is Serbo-Croatian for "semi-automatic rifle". The M59/66 has a permanently attached grenade launcher and folding sight. The launcher also functions as a muzzle brake. These were produced from 1961 until 1986. This rifle is in very good to fine condition with about 85% of its black factory finish remaining. There is some finish wear on the gas tube and barrel. There are some small rust spots on the grenade launcher sight and the magazine. The gun has excellent mechanics with all matching numbers. There is rust staining on the bolt. The bore is excellent. The stock is very good with a few small dings and scratches from use. This is a nice variant of the SKS rifle. Stock no. 32032
