This is a replica of the Remington Model 1858 Revolving Carbine made by Aldo Uberti of Italy in 2004. It is a percussion, 6-shot, revolving carbine based on the Model 1858 Revolver. It is .44 caliber with an 18-inch, full octagon barrel. The straight stock has a crescent butt plate. This little gun is in very fine condition. It retains nearly 100% of its factory blued finish. The brass furniture has a nice golden brass patina. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are excellent. This gun does not appear to have been fired. The gun was not oiled in storage, and a bit of rust has developed on the sides of the hammer that are covered by the frame when the hammer is down. There is a bit of rust in the frame cut for the hammer, also. It looks like it will mostly clean up. The stock is very fine with a few small dings from storage or handling. This is a great, lightweight little carbine. They are a blast to shoot. Just watch your hand placement! Stock no. 32179
