Here is a replica of the famed Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Carbine manufactured by Aldo Uberti of Italy in 1976 and sold by Navy Arms. The model 1873 was the "Gun That Won the West" and was made in a wide variety of configurations and barrel lengths. This is a Trapper's Model with a 16 1/8" barrel and blued receiver. It is chambered for the .44-40 (.44 WCF) cartridge. This carbine is in fine condition with more than 95% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is light wear on the most exposed edges of the gun. There is some scuffing and scratching on the butt plate. The bore is in very fine condition. The gun works well mechanically, but the dust cover is stiff and sticks in the rearmost position. The stock is in fine condition with a few tiny dings from use. Someone installed a single sling swivel on the bottom of the butt. This is a handy little carbine to have around the camp. Stock no. 32186
