This is a Ruger No.1-H Tropical Rifle manufactured in 2008 and chambered for the .450/400 Nitro Express Cartridge with a 3-inch case. It is a single shot, falling block rifle with a 24-inch heavy round barrel. These were made from from 2007 to 2012 with a few more produced in 2014. Production was ended in 2014. This rifle is in excellent condition with nearly 100% of its factory blued finish remaining. I honestly don't see any wear. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is excellent as well. This rifle is very close to new condition. The .450/400 was one of the most popular cartridges for big game in Africa in the 19th century. This is a beautiful rifle in outstanding condition.
