Description :

|
This is a British No.4, Mk.2 Short Magazine Lee Enfield Rifle chambered for the .303 British cartridge. This rifle was manufactured at the Pakistani Ordnance Factory (P.O.F.) in 1960. There is also the possibility that it was sent to P.O.F. for a factory through repair and was upgraded from a No.4, Mk.1 to a No.4, Mk.2. Given the crispness and clarity of the markings and the lack of British proofs, I believe it was manufactured by Pakistan. The rifle is in fine condition. It retains more than 90% of its factory blue/black finish with light finish wear on edges and around the barrel where a bayonet is mounted. The rifle has excellent mechanics with a matching bolt. The bore is in excellent condition, bright and shiny. The stock is in fine condition with a few small dings and scratches from use. This is a variant of the No.4, Mk.2 that you don't often see. Stock no. 30815
