This is a replica of one of the 1858 Remington percussion revolvers that was converted to fire metallic cartridges just after the Civil War. This one was made by Aldo Uberti in 2014 and imported by Stoeger. It is in very fine to excellent condition with nearly all of its factory blued finish remaining. There is just a little friction wear on the ejector rod. The mechanics, bore, and chambers are all excellent. The grips are very fine to excellent with just a couple of very tiny dings from use. The gun is in the original box which is in very good condition. There is a tear on the flap that has been repaired with tape, and one corner has been reinforced with tape. The end label is missing. These cartridge conversion revolvers played a huge role in the Old West. It's great to see high-quality replicas offered. Stock no. 31763
