Item :	FINE NORINCO TU33/40 (K98K) TRAINING RIFLE, .22 LR

This is a TU33/40 Bolt Action Rifle manufactured by Norinco of China and im ported by Navy Arms. Chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge, it is a smaller version of the WWII German K98k Infantry rifle. It is not exact, but it definitely has the look of a K98. One major difference, apart from the caliber, is the detachable 5-round box magazine. This rifle is in very fine condition with nearly all of its factory blued finish remaining. There is just a very, very tiny blemish or two in the finish. The bore amd mechanics are excellent. The stock is fine with a few small dings and scratches from use. The rifle has been fitted with a Savage 3-7X variable scope. There is an integral dovetail for the mounts, so the gun has not been drilled or modified. The scope has a 3/4" tube and from a short distance resembles a military scope. It is in fine condition with clear optics. It really gives the gun the look of a WWII German sniper rifle. The scope caps look like leather but are actually made from old cereal box cardboard that has been painted brown! The sling appears to have been made or cut down from an original. The leather is dark and well oiled. This is a great little rifle that should be a lot of fun to shoot. Stock no. 31741
