This is a Bernardelli P018 Compact Semi-Automatic Pistol chambered for the 9mm Parabellum cartridge. Released in 1982, the P018 is a double action/single action semi-auto with a 4-inch barrel. It feeds from a double stack 15-round magazine. It was produced in several variants until the early 1990's. This pistol is in very fine to excellent condition in the original box. This pistol may have never been fired. It still has the plastic Bernardelli medallion hanging from the trigger guard. That said, it has been stored without oil for a very long time, probably forty years or more. It retains nearly all of its factory black finish, but there are a couple of very tiny surface rust specks in places. The barrel is finished bright and when the slide is locked back you can see some rust staining on the exterior of the barrel. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The checkered wood grips are excellent as well. Included are three additional magazines for a total of four. There is also a manual, cleaning brush, and a screwdriver in the original box. The box is very good with some scuffing and a couple pieces of scotch tape on it. So, the next time your friends are extolling the virtues of their Bernardelli shotguns, you can say, "Yeah, yeah, but have you ever seen one of Bernardelli's pistols?". Stock no. 31629
