This is a Russian PM/IJ70 Makarov Pistol manufactured by Imez and chambered for the 9mm Makarov cartridge. Russia adopted the Makarov in 1951 as its new sidearm. Basically a simplified version of the Walther PP, the Makarov is a simple blowback, semi-automatic pistol with a 3-1/2" barrel. It feeds from an 8-round box magazine. This pistol is in excellent condition with nearly 100% of its blued finish remaining. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The grips are in excellent condition, as well. This is one of the Makarovs with an adjustable rear sight to facilitate importation into the United States. Included is an original, brown leather holster in excellent condition. One magazine is included. This is a nice Makarov. Stock no. 31594
