Here is an original, Beretta Model 1934 Pistol manufactured in 1941 and chambered for the 9mm Corto (.380 ACP) cartridge. The M1934 was the standard sidearm of the Italian Army in WWII. issued to officer's, NCOs, and machine gun crews. It is a compact, semi-automatic with a 3-3/8" barrel. It feeds from a 7-round box magazine. This pistol is in very fine condition. It has the high-polished blue finish. About 70% of this finish remains with overall finish wear on exposed edges. There is some wear on the grip straps and a few light scratches on the frame. There are a couple of "BB" sized rust spots on the slide with light pitting. The gun works well mechanically, but it takes three men and a boy to pull the trigger. The bore is in very fine condition. The grips are in fine condition with no chips or cracks. Unfortunately, the importer marks are in big bold letters on top of the barrel. Still, this is a nice, high-polish M1934. Stock no. 31595
