Here is a Czechoslovakian VZ.24 Mauser Rifle manufactured at BRNO and chambered for the 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser) cartridge. These rifles were quite popular and were exported to armies all over the world. This rifle is in good condition with a dark brown patina on the stock furniture. There is about 80% of the blued finish remaining on the barrel and receiver. The mechanics work well with an unnumbered bolt. The bore is dark and frosty, but the rifling is strongly visible along the bore's length. The stock is very good with a few small dings from use. There are tiny importer marks on the barrel. This is a rugged 8mm rifle that you won't have to baby. Stock no. 29863
