Item No.: 10565 Price : $1,995.00
Item : VERY RARE, WWII GERMAN SA (STURMABTEILUNG) KEPI & ARMBAND, SA GROUP “BAYERISCHE OSTMARK”
Description :
This is an original, pre or early WWII, SA Kepi with its original Armband. The SA or Sturm Abteilung (Storm Troopers) were a paramilitary group serving Adolf Hitler. They were primarily a tool of intimidation against political opponents and minorities. They were called the Brown Shirts because of their uniform blouse. They also wore this distinctive "Coffee Can" kepi along with a swastika armband. The kepis had distinctive colors to indicate the gruppe (division) to which the wearer belonged. This kepi has a gold button with red and black center on the front with a sky blue wool band at the top. This indicates the Bayerische Ostmark Gruppe from parts of Eastern and Northern Bavaria. The Kepi is in very fine condition with great color. There is one small moth hole in the blue wool on the front. The khaki drill has a few small stains near the back. The brown leather chin strap is excellent. There is a tiny bit of wear of the gold on the front button. The lining is complete with some wear from use. Unfortunately, the makers or RZM tag has been lost. Included is the original SA swastika armband in very fine condition. It has bright colors with just a few tiny stains. There is an old spiderweb inside. This is a very rare war trophy and historical relic of WWII. We do not support or condone Adolf Hitler or the Nazi party in any way, shape, or form. Stock no. 31447
