Here is an original, Swiss Model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin Infantry Rifle chambered for the 7.5x55mm cartridge. This is a straight-pull, bolt action rifle feeding from a 6-round box magazine. It is in very good to fine condition with all matching numbers and 85-90% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is light overall wear on edges and the most exposed areas. The trigger guard is turning brown. The magazine floor plate has a steel patina with a heavy sprinkling of brown. There is some rust speckling on the butt plate. The bolt remains armory bright with some light speckles of brown. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is very good with a scattering of dings and scratches from use. Included is an original leather sling in fair condition. The leather is supple, but dark and oily. These Swiss rifles are very well built. Stock no. 31239
