This is a Savage Model 19 NRA Match Rifle chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. Savage produced these from 1919 to 1932. This is a bolt action rifle feeding from a 5-raound box magazine. It has a military style, full length stock with a 25" barrel. It uses an adjustable, aperture rear sight. This rifle is in fine condition with more than 90% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is some finish wear on the lower barrel band, trigger guard, and butt plate. The bolt is finished armory bright. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is in fine condition with just a few tiny dings and scratches from use. Included is a short Kerr "No-Buckl" sling in fine condition. I think that this might actually be a Thompson sling, but it fits this little rifle perfectly. Most of these Savage rifles are hard used. This one is in very nice condition. Stock no. 31194
