This is a Smith & Wesson "New Departure" .32 Safety Hammerless Revolver chambered for the .32 S&W cartridge. Also known as the "Lemon Squeezer" because of its grip safety, this is a 5-shot, double-action only, hammerless revolver with a 3 1/2"-barrel. It is nickel plated and has factory pearl grips. This is a 2nd Model Safety Hammerless. These were produced from 1902 to 1909. This revolver is in excellent condition in the original box. It retains nearly all of its factory nickel finish. The only area of finish loss is on the front sight blade, which appears to have been blued. The trigger retains all of its cased color. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are excellent. The factory pearl grips are excellent as well. The original box is in fine condition with no broken corners and just a bit of scuffing on the edges. The paper label has two small areas that have peeled away, but all the lettering is intact. The instructions are printed inside the box top. You will be hard pressed to find a better example of the Lemon Squeezer than this! Stock no. 30918
