Here is a Colt Police Positive Target Model Revolver manufactured in 1913 and chambered for the .22 Winchester Rimfire Cartridge. This is a 1st Issue revolver. The Target Models were small frame, 6-shot revolvers with adjustable sights and a 6" barrel. This gun is in very good condition with about 80% of its blued finish remaining. Unfortunately, the barrel has been shortened to 5 1/8" and the front sight is replaced. There are a couple of file cuts on the frame on either side of the barrel. There are some other places on the cylinder that appear to have been hit with a file. These areas have had the blue touched up. Given the way the front sight is mounted, the barrel finish is almost certainly redone. The gun works well mechanically. The bore and chambers are in very fine condition. The black hard rubber grips are in very fine condition. Stock no. 30938
