Here is a Colt Fourth Model Thuer Derringer chambered for the .22 short cartridge. It is a single-shot derringer with a 2 1/2" barrel. The barrel pivots for loading. Colt made these from 1959 to 1963. Originally the barrel was blued, but someone has polished this barrel to bright. While I would never advocate doing this, I have to admit that I like this polished steel barrel better than a blued one (At least on this derringer!). The gun has excellent mechanics. The bore is excellent as well. The wood grips are very fine. This is a good-looking little derringer. Stock no. 30720
