Item :	FINE RUGER OLD MODEL BEARCAT REVOLVER, .22 LR

Description :

This is a Ruger Old Model Bearcat Revolver chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. This one has oiled wood grips with the medallion (adopted in 1963) and a steel ejector housing (discontinued in 1964), so that dates it to 1963 or early 1964. It is a single action, 6-shot revolver with a 4" barrel. This is an unmodified Old Model, so it does not have the transfer bar safety. The gun is in fine condition with about 95% of its factory blued and black finishes remaining. There is some light holster wear on the muzzle and front of the ejector housing. There is a small, faint, light scrape on the side of the ejector housing. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are all excellent. The oiled wood grips are in fine condition with a few small dings and scratches from use. There is some wear on the edges of the butt and a tiny chip on each grip where it extended past the frame at the toe. Included is a Bucheimer B20 holster in fine condition. The Bearcat is a great little .22 "kit" gun. Stock no, 30725
