VERY FINE MAUSER BROOMHANDLE C96 BOLO PISTOL, 7.63MM

This is an original, Mauser Broomhandle C96 Pistol chambered for the 7.63x25mm Mauser cartridge. This is a late post-war Bolo Mauser dating to the 1920's. The Bolo was purpose built to be compliant with the Treaty of Versailles. It had smaller grips and a shorter 3.9-inch barrel. The Russian Bolshevik government favored these pistols and bought large numbers of them, hence the nickname "Bolo". This pistol is in very fine condition with 90-95% of its factory blued finish remaining. There is some light finish wear on the lower front of the magazine and some very light holster wear on the high edges of the frame. The sight elevator, safety, and extractor retain most of their fire blued finish. The gun has excellent mechanics and a very fine bore. The grips are in very fine condition as well. Stock no. 30671
