This is a current manufacture Colt Python Double-Action Revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge. Produced from 1955 to 1996 the Python was Colt's Flagship Revolver. Hand fit and finished, they were works of art, eventually becoming too expensive to produce. In 2020 Colt brought the Python back in stainless steel. No longer hand built, this is still a top-of-the-line handgun with an incredibly smooth action. This revolver is one of the current production guns. It is in excellent condition, like new in the original box. It has a 3" barrel and a polished stainless finish that resembles nickel plating. The bore, chambers, and mechanics are excellent. The checkered wood grips are excellent as well. The factory plastic hard case is also excellent with a gun lock and all the paperwork. Everyone should own the King of the Snake Guns! Stock no. 30637
